Type your address, or your nearest town, and pick the right match. If your property is a rural lot with no street number, start with the nearest named road and drag the map the rest of the way once you're close.
Once you pick a result, the editor opens over your property at a zoom where you can already see structures and fence lines. From the first click you're drawing on the place you came to plan.
25+ drawing tools, built for the things on a rural property
Generic mapping tools give you "polygon" and "line" and leave you to work out the rest. PLOT ships a typed catalogue covering the infrastructure that actually goes on a rural property, each with its own default colour and icon so your plan reads at a glance.
Structures
Sheds, barns, houses, garages, stables, chicken coops, arenas. Drop it, resize it, name it.
Boundaries & fencing
Property boundary, fences, gates, paddocks. Name and colour each fence line however suits your notes, for example to tell post-and-wire apart from electric.
Water
Dams, water tanks, bores, troughs, drainage, water lines. Draw a setback circle around a bore to check clearance.
Power
Power lines and solar panels, with a note field so you can record buried-vs-overhead for your own records.
Access
Driveways and roads. Curved lines follow your clicks smoothly, so a driveway bend looks the way it will on the ground.
Plant & vegetation
Gardens, orchards, vineyards, tree lines and windbreaks. Useful for shade and shelter planning.
Sanitation
Septic systems, so you can sketch the trench and check it against setback distances by hand.
Other
Anything we haven't covered: draw any shape, give it a name and a colour, and reuse it across plans.
Drawing happens on a fast, responsive map with generous undo and redo (50 steps). Your work saves as you go, locally straight away and, once you're signed in, to your account a moment later.
Satellite imagery, included on every tier
Most planning tools give you one basemap and call it done. PLOT ships the same high-resolution imagery to every signed-in tier.
30cm imagery for everyone
Every tier runs on satellite imagery at 30 centimetres per pixel, close enough to count fence posts, tell a water tank from a silo, and see the colour of last year's pasture grass.
The imagery you draw on is the same whether you're on Free, Pro, Pro+, Team or Enterprise. Resolution is set by the imagery provider, not your subscription.
Live measurements as you draw
Every shape shows its area live; every line shows its length. For areas of a hectare or more, a second figure in hectares (or acres, for imperial) shows alongside the square metres, so you don't have to do the conversion yourself. Choose metric or imperial in Settings; PLOT never switches units on you automatically.
Measurements use proper geospatial maths that stays accurate even on large properties, not a rough approximation that drifts as your land gets bigger.
Cloud save, sharing, multi-device sync
Every device you sign in on stays in sync. Edit a plan on your laptop, walk out to the paddock, open it on your phone and your laptop's last save is already there.
What you keep in the cloud depends on your tier. Free covers up to 2 plans with up to 10 items each (each shed, fence or paddock counts as one item), enough to map one property end to end. Pro raises the item cap to 50 and the plan ceiling to 20; Pro+, Team and Enterprise are unlimited on both. What bites first is items, not plan count, so the upgrade comes when your one property outgrows ten items, not when you start a second plan.
How sharing works
Sharing works two ways, and the first is free on every tier. A view-only link opens the plan in anyone's browser, no account needed; they can look around but not change anything, and you can turn the link off at any time. An email invite, a Pro feature and up, asks someone to sign in to PLOT and work on the plan with you; whether they land on Can view or Can edit depends on their own subscription, since editing needs at least a Free account with edit access granted, and effectively a paid one to keep it.
Downgrading to Free flips any plans you had shared for editing back to view-only for the people you shared them with. No data is deleted.
No limits (Pro+)
Pro+ removes the caps: unlimited plans and unlimited items on each one, up to 20 photo pins per plan, and priority support when you need a hand.
Shared team access (Team)
Team goes a step further than one-off shares. Subscribing sets your team up immediately, and you add or remove members yourself from the Billing page by email, so instead of inviting people to each plan individually, your whole team can view and edit the team's plans together. Enterprise keeps the same shared team access and adds white-label and per-deployment options on top, plus a Project API so integrations can list plans and read or write custom data layers.
Open the same plan in as many browser tabs as you like. They stay in step with each other, so your plan and your account stay consistent no matter how many tabs you have running.
