tips:

  1. Use the: “Ask us?” portal for course questions, don’t directly email the admin staff.
    An “Ask us?” query automatically raises a ticket/query and they will have a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to respond within a certain time frame.
    A direct email will start the time ticking for the SLA when the admin staff input it into the system, NOT when you email it.
    The “Ask us?” section will be constantly monitored for queries.
    Creating an “Ask us?” query saves the support staff time inputting an email into the ticketing system and thus speeds up your request.
  2. If you have an issue with study contact your personal tutor ASAP, BBK have some fantastic support staff but you have to ask for it.
  3. BBK have some great “helper” 1 to 1 sessions e.g. Maths help, well worth utilising.
  4. Pay attention to the “Ethics” lectures in Programming with Data module – trust me its worth it 🙂
  5. Participate in lectures when the lecturer wants interaction – lectures are more rewarding and more interesting for both student and lecturer, plus you’ll get a better teaching experience.
