Why

The docs site is still showing the old logo. Per the recent brand refresh on plexicus/web (decision logged 2026-05-14: "Swapped entire favicon set to the mascot"), the canonical brand mark is now the new Plexicus mascot.

What changed

Logo assets replaced/added (static/img/)

File Action Source
favicon.svg Replaced web/public/favicon.svg (new mascot)
favicon.ico Replaced web/public/favicon.ico
favicon-32x32.png Added web/public/favicon-32x32.png
favicon-96x96.png Added web/public/favicon-96x96.png
apple-touch-icon.png Added web/public/apple-touch-icon.png
plexicus-mascot.svg Added web/public/images/plexicus-mascot.svg
plexicus-logo-color.svg Added new full-color text logo (SVG)
icon-plexicus-color.svg Added new color icon mark

docusaurus.config.ts

  • Fixed leftover Docusaurus boilerplate tagline ("Dinosaurs are cool") → "ASPM built for the era of AI-assisted development."
  • Navbar logo (img/favicon.svg) and favicon (img/favicon.ico) paths remain unchanged — the files at those paths were replaced in place

Visual impact

  • Browser tab favicon → new mascot ✅
  • Navbar logo (top-left) → new mascot ✅
  • Apple touch icon (iOS home screen) → new mascot ✅

Follow-up needed (out of scope for this PR)

  • Social card image (themeConfig.image = img/plexicus-logo-color.png) — the existing 47KB PNG still shows the old logo. Design team should export a fresh 1200×630 social card PNG from the new brand and replace this file. Keeping the PNG path means link unfurls on LinkedIn/Twitter/Slack continue working until that swap.
  • The old plexicus-logo-color.png is kept (not deleted) so the og:image reference in themeConfig.image doesn't 404 until the design team replaces it
