About me (Harald Glab-Plhak)

Especially in the projects above, but also in general, I am happy if developers are willing to contribute if they have an interest in these areas.

Welcome to my GitHub Projects.

I started Informatics with BASIC, 8086 Assembler, and Pascal on a 'very fast' DOS computer. What I like to do is work as a technical Consultant and Developer (System Architect). I think education should be free for everyone, so I have projects planned for both productive use and learning. I am trying hard to document my work in the projects and add comments so the code is readable and easy to understand. Born in 1966, I studied Informatics at ADV Böblingen in the early 90's. The projects I worked on and my education. What I learned there was Mainframe Programming and Design Projects.

  • Tutorial Manager: (Prototype and Computer-Based Training (Interactive) Interpreter written in C under OS/2, later with a port to Windows.
  • TransLexis: A Database System for n:m natural language storing in Lemma and Concept view with BIDI and DBCS support. Also, translation formulas for automated translation were stored.
  • Banking Service: A application in C with DSL (Domain-specific language) for applying the front-end and backend for specific banking institutions for doing different banking transactions
  • DB/2 internal programming of Snapshot functionality to show Snapshot Data as Virtual Tables.
  • Workflow Programming for the IBM Translation Center After that, I worked on ImageMaster design and development (ImageMaster is an ECM System of T-Systems International GmbH. Here I had the following challenges:
  • Test automation in JAVA with J2EE and JUNIT Application containers later with Jira / Docker ... for CD/CI integration
  • Development in a Team for the Core Component and User-specific Extensions and Archive backends ( File System, Centera, Azure, Hitachi, SFTP, Hadoop).
  • Module responsible for the Import / Export Service
  • Crypto Component with Certificate, CMS Signature, PDF signature, XML-Signature processing, as well as Evidence records and signature creation with signature cards from TeleSec.
  • In between, I worked on an HR application for Daimler-Benz and as Test Manager for an HR application for T-Systems

My work in the freeware AREA:

  • NEW: self-hostable Python middleware for making enterprise data searchable and AI-accessible without making operational Sources of Truth directly searchable. The project combines enterprise data integration, fine-grained authorization, segmented, and incrementally refreshable cache
  • A testing project (reflect Code, generate tests for the functions, generate data, and test execution in Clojure (supporting Java, Clojure, Scala, Kotlin, and Python testing). Also, performance tests and integration into a CD/CI chain will be possible.
  • Scheme 48 development for the interpreter itself
  • A SECD implementation in Racket
  • AI projects in Python. Especially for ASAG, NLP, mBERT, Text generation, and Hybrid Search with fulltext (BM25) and BERT.
  • A PL/ 1 open source compiler in Python
  • many more...
