Ensure you have the following installed on your system:

• Git (for cloning the repository)
• Node.js (v18 or higher)
• Python (v3.12 or higher)
• Astral UV: The extremely fast Python package and project manager.

cd baseprogram

We use UV for lighting-fast dependency resolution and environment management.

cd backend

# Install dependencies and create a virtual environment
uv sync

# Configure Environment Variables
# Create a .env file based on the provided template if available

Run the Backend:

uv run uvicorn app.main:app --reload

The frontend uses React with modern npm practices.
