Great work! It might be clearer to explicitly set one of the margins to 0, and the other to newInternalMargin, but I don't mind this approach, since it is clearly less verbose, although it could result in negative margins (which isn't a problem, but could be confusing for people trying to debug).

This PR addresses Issue #1155 with the margins not collapsing properly between blocks.
