I've been experiencing an issue that only affects android where notifications for a geofence don't come through if the app is closed or running in the background.
I've set up a geofence to my location with a campaign running where a notification gets sent when you've dwelled in the geofence for longer than 5 minutes. I have been using the example app and built an APK for it and installed it on the device and if the app is not in the foreground no notification appears. I can have the app closed for 10 minutes and nothing appears then as soon as I open the app, the notification comes through.
