Blockchain E-Voting System

Overview

The Blockchain E-Voting System is a decentralized solution designed to revolutionize the electoral process, ensuring transparency, security, and integrity. By leveraging blockchain technology, this system aims to address the shortcomings of traditional paper-based voting systems and enhance democratic participation.

Problem Statement

My solution utilizes blockchain innovation to create a transparent, secure, and immutable voting system. Key features include:

  • Decentralization: Eliminates the need for a central authority, reducing the risk of manipulation.
  • Immutability: Once a vote is cast, it becomes final and cannot be altered, ensuring data integrity.
  • Single Voting: Prevents duplicate voting, ensuring each voter has only one vote.
  • Real-time Results: Election results are displayed in real-time, providing transparency to all stakeholders.
  • User-friendly Interface: A straightforward interface ensures ease of use for all demographics, including illiterate individuals.

Novelty

My system aims to restore trust in the electoral process by guaranteeing integrity, security, and transparency. By empowering voters and ensuring their voices are accurately represented, we strive to foster greater civic engagement and participation.

Logic and Complexity

The system relies on pre-existing data for registered voters, stored as hashed identity numbers. Additionally, it maintains a list of contestants with relevant information for display on the user interface.
