About Me:

Hi, I'm Diego 👋

I'm a software engineer with an M.S. in Software Engineering from the University of Utah.

I learned the fundamentals before the AI age — now I stay curious and adapt. I'm passionate about building things that work — and understanding why they do. Backend-focused, systems-minded, and endlessly curious about how new tools reshape what's possible.

My work spans the full stack: I've built web apps, trained ML models, automated infrastructure, and maintained a multi-server Linux home lab that I keep running just because I enjoy it. I like writing clean, purposeful code and thinking carefully about how systems fit together.
