Hyperping now has a partner program. If you recommend Hyperping to the people you work with or write for, you earn 30% of every payment they make for their first 12 months as customers. Joining is free and takes a minute at partners.hyperping.com.
Key takeaways:
- 30% commission on every subscription payment, for 12 months from the customer's first payment
- 90-day cookie, last partner link wins
- Your link works as soon as you sign up, with no application to wait on
- Payouts at the start of each month from $50 or 50 EUR, by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer
- A live dashboard with your visits, signups and commissions
Why we started a partner program
A good share of Hyperping customers already arrive through someone else: an agency that sets up monitoring and a status page for its clients, a consultant who recommends us during an infrastructure audit, a developer who mentions us in a newsletter or a Reddit thread. Until now, none of them got anything for it.
The partner program pays those people, with terms we would want as a partner ourselves: a real share of the revenue, for long enough to be worth the effort, paid every month without chasing anyone.
What you earn
You earn 30% of every subscription invoice a referred account pays during the 12 months that follow its first payment. The base is what the customer actually paid, tax excluded and after discounts and credits. Monthly and yearly plans both count, and so do upgrades.
Here is what one referred customer is worth over 12 months on monthly billing:
| Plan | Price | Your commission per month | Over 12 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $29/month | $8.70 | $104 |
| Pro | $89/month | $26.70 | $320 |
| Business | $299/month | $89.70 | $1,076 |
A customer on a yearly plan pays once, and you get the same 30% share of that payment up front. A Business customer paying $2,990 for the year earns you $897 on the day they pay.
There is no cap. Ten Pro customers are $3,204 over a year, and the calculator on the program page does the math for any mix of plans.
To pick the rate, we looked at our own Stripe data: customers who first paid between mid-2023 and late 2025 paid $628 on average in their first 12 months (median $343). At 30%, that is about $188 per referred customer on average.
How referrals are tracked
Your link sets a 90-day cookie. If the visitor creates a Hyperping account within those 90 days, the account is yours, whether they pay on the first day or at the end of their trial. When a visitor clicked several partner links, the last one counts.
You can link to any page of hyperping.com by adding ?via=your-code to it:
https://hyperping.com/?via=your-codefor the home pagehttps://hyperping.com/status-page?via=your-codeif your audience needs a status pagehttps://hyperping.com/pricing?via=your-codefor readers who are already comparing tools
There is also a short link, https://partners.hyperping.com/r/your-code, which is easier to read out in a video or a podcast. Add ?to=/pricing (or any other path) to send it to a specific page.
Only new accounts count. Someone who already has a Hyperping account, or a teammate invited to an existing account, is not a referral. If a customer you referred signed up with cookies blocked, write to us: we credit referrals by hand when both sides confirm them.
When you get paid
Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment it comes from, which covers refunds and chargebacks. After that, it becomes available.
We pay available balances at the start of each month, once they reach $50 for US dollar commissions or 50 EUR for euro commissions. Payouts go out by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer, in the currency the customer paid in. We never convert between the two, so you can hold a balance in each.
Every payout comes with the list of commissions it covers. If you are a business, you send us an invoice for each payout. Commissions are exclusive of VAT, and VAT is reverse-charged for EU businesses outside France.
If a customer is refunded, the commission on that payment is cancelled. When it was already paid out, the amount comes off your next payout.
Who the program is for
The program fits anyone who talks to people running websites, APIs or infrastructure:
- Agencies and freelancers who build and host sites for clients, and set up uptime monitoring and status pages for them
- DevOps and SRE consultants who recommend tooling during audits and migrations
- Content creators, bloggers and YouTubers who write tutorials about hosting, monitoring or incident response
- Newsletter authors and community leaders in the DevOps, indie hacker and SaaS spaces
- Hyperping customers who already recommend us to their peers
If you write about monitoring, a comparison or a tutorial works better than a banner. Our readers most often land on Hyperping from pages like the best uptime monitoring software or a roundup of the best status page software, because they are already looking for a tool.
What is not allowed
A few rules keep the program fair for partners and for our customers. You may not:
- refer yourself, your own company or accounts you control, or offer to share your commission with the people you refer
- bid on "Hyperping" or its misspellings in search or social ads, or use them in domain names
- list your link on coupon, cashback or incentive sites, or send unsolicited messages
- present yourself as Hyperping, or make claims about Hyperping, its prices or its competitors that are not true
Say that you earn a commission when you recommend us. Commissions earned in breach of these rules are cancelled. The full program terms have the details.
How to join
1. Create your partner account
Go to partners.hyperping.com and sign up with Google or with your email. There is no password: we email you a 6-digit code.
2. Pick your referral code
Choose a code, like your name or your company, with 3 to 32 lowercase letters, digits or hyphens. Leave it empty and we pick one from your name. It becomes your link: hyperping.com/?via=your-code.
3. Share your link
Your link works the minute your account is created. Put it in a blog post, a newsletter, a video description, or send it to a client you are setting up.
4. Get paid every month
Your dashboard shows visits, signups and commissions as they happen. Add your payout details once, and we pay your available balance at the start of each month.
Your terms don't change after the fact
A referral keeps the rate and duration in force on the day it was recorded. If we change the program, we give 30 days notice and the change only applies to future referrals. If we ever close the program, referrals recorded before the closing keep earning until their 12 months are over.
