The forum often has people attach a .slvs file. The fastest way to answer questions in those cases might be to open the file in the web version. A two step process would be a start. 1) Run web version, 2) paste the URL into the open-file dialog.
Even better would be to enable starting the web version with a URL. The forum software could then theoretically add an additional link so we could either download the file or open it directly in the web version. "Here's my file in quesiton" click - it opens right there in the browser.
I'm not convinced all solvespace versions should be able to open a URL to a file.
